Coworker: Refers to someone who is employed by one of our approved Select Employee Groups. What does this mean? Because SWACU has a closed membership, one of the ways you can become a member is through your employer. We partner with your employer to offer you the benefit of credit union membership—in other words, we’re exclusive. If you are not sure if we have partnered with your employer, just ask!

To qualify, the referred member must open a new SWACU savings and checking account, enroll in eStatements, and establish a recurring direct deposit within ninety (90) days of account opening. *REFERRAL BONUS PAYOUT:
The member who referred you will receive a referral bonus based on your activity with Southwest Airlines Federal Credit Union. Because the bonus is dependent on your activity, there is a possibility they will know you have become a member and/or that you have established new loan products with SWACU. This is considered non-public personal information. By confirming this referral, you are authorizing SWACU to release this information to the existing member who referred you.
