Because SWACU has a closed membership, one of the ways you can become a member is through your employer. *Membership eligibility required. Referral bonus for current member only (“Member”). The person being referred (“Referral”) must not have been a SWACU member (joint or primary) for at least three (3) years prior to opening accounts as part of this Program. Member’s account must be in good standing at the time the bonus(es) is/are paid to receive the payout(s). 1Cash payout for a new checking account will be credited to the Member’s savings account within four (4) to six (6) weeks after Referral’s direct deposit of funds into SWACU checking account. 2Cash payout for a new SWACU Visa Credit Card will be credited to the Member’s savings account no later than six (6) weeks after Referral establishes credit line. 3A minimum loan amount of $5,000.00 is required to receive a cash payout for financing a vehicle which will be credited to the Member’s savings account no later than (6) weeks after the Referral’s loan is finalized. Any cash incentives from these promotions can be considered dividends and may be reported on an IRS Form 1099. The Referral Program offer is not valid with any other offers or promotions. Additional restrictions may apply. All accounts and loans are subject to approval by SWACU, and all membership eligibility guidelines apply. *REFERRAL BONUS PAYOUT:
The member who referred you will receive a referral bonus based on your activity with Southwest Airlines Federal Credit Union. Because the bonus is dependent on your activity, there is a possibility they will know you have become a member and/or that you have established new loan products with SWACU. This is considered non-public personal information. By confirming this referral, you are authorizing SWACU to release this information to the existing member who referred you. If you do not want the person who referred you to know you have become a member with SWACU, opened a SWACU VISA Credit Card, or financed an auto with SWACU, please do not participate in this offer.
